Dr. Chance Carter recognized by the Society for Applied Spectroscopy for outstanding work

Dr Chance Carter, the Group leader for the Materials and Analytical Spectroscopy/Spectrometry group at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, was recently recognized by the Society for Applied Spectroscopy for his exceptional contributions to the field.
His work is mostly focused on developing spectroscopic-based analytical method and systems, including developing stand-off and remote Raman spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy, and fiber optic and hollow waveguide-based sensors.
